"I worked with Olga for several years, during the time we spent together we re-imagined the digital CX for one of the largest childcare’s in America, delivered a comprehensive future vision for a global Private Equity company and collaborated on a variety of initiatives focused on making our work environments the best they could be.

Olga brings confidence, talent and drive to all aspects of experience & product design. Skilled in both primary and secondary research, synthesis and presentation of insights, rapid prototyping and testing, dealing with complex requirements and use cases and just dang good design.

Aside from all that. She is a really smart, kind and brave human being. I loved the opportunity to work with Olga and so will you if you get the chance."

Rohan Woodward
Principal, Design & Strategy

"When I joined Olga's project team it was clear from the start that she was someone who had a good overview and connection with the team. Her background and approach to her work gives her a great ability to understand the bigger, more strategic picture whilst having the skills and drive to be able to deliver high-quality details and deliverables.

Olga has a great ability to back up her work and her initiatives and quickly gains the respect and trust of all those she works closely with. Her communication skills within the team and with the client were strong, organized and intentional and ensured that there was strong alignment and positive momentum across the board.

Olga is a designer and colleague I knew I could trust with anything and everything if needed, she has the confidence to step into almost any role, and the humility to know when she can lean on others for support and guidance.

It is always a pleasure to work, or to just have a quick chat with Olga, her curiosity and breadth of interests and knowledge are wider than most designers which makes for great and inspirational conversation. She really is a great human being, and a talented designer who I can wholeheartedly recommend you send time with if you are lucky to get the chance."

David McInnes
UX Lead and Design Manager

I worked with Olga at Amazon Shipping, where she joined as a contractor and immediately operated at a senior level. What stood out most was her ability to unblock herself. She independently found the right partners, navigated a complex org, and built the context she needed without relying on escalation or hand-holding.

Olga created a clear, thoughtful map of a highly complex internal sales process that surfaced root-cause problems others had struggled to articulate, and she paired that insight with practical, well-reasoned recommendations for applying AI in a way that actually made sense for the business. She’s also a confident, effective presenter who can communicate clearly with senior leaders and stay grounded in ambiguity.

I’ve worked with many contractors over the years, and I’ve never seen one operate with the level of ownership, clarity, and independence that Olga consistently demonstrated. I would work with her again without hesitation.

Justin Rusk
Principal UX Designer

"When Olga joined Method, she was transitioning from architecture and seeking more experience in digital design. In a short period, she became one of our most talented experience designers. Her attention to craft and high level of execution made her highly desired for client projects, and her work on customer journeys set the standard for what Method can produce. As her manager, it was a pleasure to witness this growth firsthand. I believe that Olga has a promising future and will make an excellent addition to any team."

How I Work

Systematic & systemic thinking

I see patterns and structures, not just screens. My architectural background trained me to design coherent systems that hold up under complexity and scale.

Interdisciplinary collaboration

I work naturally across engineering, product, operations, and business teams. I've lived in adjacent disciplines, so I understand how decisions ripple across organizations.

Building lovable products

Functional isn't enough. I focus on craft, delight, and the details that make people actually want to use what we build.

Rapid prototyping

I move fast from concept to tangible. Testing ideas early and often means we learn faster and ship smarter.

Makers' approach

My work is transparent, accessible for feedback, and well-documented. I believe in showing the work, not just the final output.

About

I hold three master’s degrees from a technical university and an academy of fine arts, where I learned to perceive problems from many angles, including craft, art, technology, and business. Before transitioning to digital product design, I worked as an architect at SOM, designing urban neighborhoods and skyscrapers. Architecture shaped how I manage complexity across disciplines, navigate ambiguity, think in systems rather than features, and design for outcomes years into the future.

Over the years, I have worked across digital product design in diverse contexts, including freelance work, in-house roles where I dedicated my full attention to a single problem space for extended periods, and consultancies like Method, where I worked across multiple focused projects with companies at different stages of maturity. That breadth developed my ability to adapt quickly to different constraints and find the throughline between business strategy and user needs. Regardless of the problem space, I design with intentionality and precision, with the belief that great design requires craft, structure, and adaptability. I also mentor over 100 designers through ADPList and create resources for the Figma community, because good design gets better when we share what we know.
